Features of the Igongo cultural centre.

Eriijukiro Museum (A place of memory), the largest museum in Western Uganda from Ankole`s regalia and pastoral tools, to everyday items and clan memory. The muesum showcases Ankole and southwestern Ugandan heritage long-horned cattle, regalia, milk pots, hides, stools, and traditional attire it also displays the social organization, leadership and customs, all built together with storytelling and narration.

Itaramiro, meaning “a place where people gather”.
