DAY 1: City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On this day, our experienced tour driver / guide will pick you from your Hotel or Airport and take you for Kigali city tour. Visit Kigali genocide memorial site Nyamata church, Caplaki craft market and local markets if time allows, you will then have lunch thereafter transfer to Volcanoes national park. On arrival, proceed to check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at MOUNTAIN GORILLA VIEW LODGE / LE BAMBOU GORILLA LODGE / DAVINCI GORILLA LODGE
DAY 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking & Cultural visit to Gorilla guardians Village
On the second day of the Gorilla trekking Rwanda, you will have an early morning breakfast, then with your packed lunch head to the park office which is the starting point for mountain gorilla trekking. You will be assigned to the gorilla family to visit, be briefed about the Dos and Don’ts of gorilla trekking. You will then ascend to the forest for your memorable trekking experience. Then later after gorilla trekking, you will visit Gorilla guardians cultural village for cultural experiences. After the visit, return to the lodge for overnight stay at MOUNTAIN GORILLA VIEW LODGE / LE BAMBOU GORILLA LODGE / DAVINCI GORILLA LODGE
DAY 3: Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer back to Kigali
Have your morning breakfast and report to the park office well prepared for the visit to the Golden Monkey. These are endangered species of primates that stay specifically on high altitude in the virunga volcanic mountains, you will be briefed and together with your park guide head to the forest and track these monkeys. On return from monkey tracking, return to your lodge for lunch afterwards, check out and drive back to Kigali as you end the tour.
