Booking Terms / Payment & Cancellation Policy.

In regard to our Safari booking terms and conditions, booking the trip with us is simple: You are required to fill out the booking form and submit it. From there, we will quickly get in touch with you by phone, WhatsApp, or email. Alternatively, You can contact us on our Telephone number provided for inquiries and request a price quote for your trip.

At Adventures To Gorilla Africa, we handle all our trips using experienced local tour guides/drivers who know our destinations, road maps, and have first-hand information about the places we intend to be visit. This makes all our clients feel comfortable while traveling and enjoy the entire trip.

All our Safaris in Uganda and Rwanda start from the main cities/airports of either Entebbe, Kampala, or Kigali; however, upon arrangement, we can pick you up from your preferred point.

If non of our itineraries suit your style, please get in touch with us and we will customize a perfect itinerary that matches your interests, time, and Budget. Our tours and Safari packages include  accommodation on full-board with all en-route meals and activities included, unless otherwise stated.

Safari Booking Terms and Conditions.

We highly advise you to read and understand the itinerary very well. For any person making a safari booking should understand especially what is included and excluded in the package price before confirming the trip with us. Adventures To Gorilla Africa shall not be responsible for any service not included in the purchased itinerary after your confirmation.

Adventure Travel involves many of dangers and risks; booking and confirming your trip is based on understanding that you are undertaking your holiday safari at your own risk. Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd purchase services on behalf of clients, such as Nature walks, accommodation, restaurant services, Boat rides, Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee tracking, Birding, transport, Game drive, among others. All of these services are purchased from independent suppliers and organizations that are subject to full control and have their own management. Therefore, Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd has no responsibility for or control over them. Consequently, Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd is not liable for any loss of property, injury, death, illness, or danger that may occur while undertaking these adventurous activities due to any act or omission by these independent supplier companies.

Health

Please check your healthy condition before deciding to participate in an Africa Safari, as all our clients should understand that some activities require a good level of health and fitness. It is required to to arrange your personal insurance that valid and effective when booking a safari or tour with Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd. In other words, it is advisable that a person not fit for long drives or long journeys do not participate in such travel programs. Additionally, consider evacuation expenses, medical and property damage or loss; you must take maximum care of your own life and property while planning your holiday safari.

According to our Safari booking terms and conditions, Adventures To Gorilla Africa will not be Liable for any acts of government, fire, acts of nature, riots, terrorist acts, theft, epidemics, or any incidents that are beyond its control.

Trip Confirmation Procedures.

  • Deposits: To confirm a trip or Safari booking with Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd, you must make an advance payment deposit of at least 40% of the total tour price. This confirms that you accept to take a trip with us. Adventures To Gorilla Africa will then take the next step to purchase and book your activities which are highlights and competitive in your itinerary, such as Gorilla trekking permits booking and Chimpanzee tracking permits. These two activities determine the trip plan and must be booked first.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance of 60% must be paid before the trip begins, usually 30 – 45 days prior, or upon arrival in Uganda or Rwanda. Depending on the time of trip confirmation, you may also be advised to make full payment (100%) or half (50%) of the total invoice to enable our staff to quickly book accommodation and activities, especially if your booking confirmation is received in the month the trip is scheduled to begin.

Money & Secure Payment.

Most of the service we purchase for our clients are quoted in US Dollars; therefore, we recommend making payment in Us dollars. This can be done either by bank transfer from your bank account to our USD account. A Second option is make a secure payment online using your Visa card, Mastercard, or American Express through Pesapal. You can request a payment link or pay on our website by clicking on payment app provided. By making payment to our account, you confirm that you agree to our booking terms and conditions.

After confirming your Safari or Tour with Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd, we do our best to provide the holiday arrangements that have been confirmed. However, we bring this to your notice that occasionally some changes may occur during the course of your trip, such as changes in route, seasonal rainfall, changes in bush tracks, migration of wildlife from one location to another, and Change of lodges. Therefore, Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd will not be liable for uncertainties that are unavoidable.

Lodges/Hotels: In case we promise our client a lodge and in the booking process we realize it’s not able to accommodate our clients, we try to suggest to our clients another lodge of the same standard as the one promised in the itinerary.

Activities Missed.

In case the client intentionally refuses to do an activity included in the Itinerary, Adventures To Gorilla Africa will not be liable for any refund, according to our Safari booking terms and conditions, for activities such as Gorilla trekking, Game drive, Nature walk, Boat ride, and any other that may be booked in the itinerary.

Finally during the course of your holiday Safari booked with Adventures To Gorilla Africa, in case you have a cause to raise an issue, you must bring it to attention of your tour guide/driver to rectify it, than waiting to complain on return when the Safari is over.

Tour Cancellation Policy.

We wouldn’t like to cancel the trip, but on an irregular basis, we have to accept and reserve the right to cancel a trip that is already booked. Should it happen for one reason or another, we shall not be liable for any expenses or losses incurred as a result of cancellation.

Cancellation of the trip is only accepted when received and acknowledged in writing by the Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd. office.

Adventures To Gorilla Africa Ltd is not liable to any refund if the tour participant does not show up for a booked tour or intentionally refuses  to participate in an activity indicated on their tour itinerary as agreed and booked with the company.

The company is also not liable for a refund for any unused Gorilla permit once it is booked, as this it is a rule not to refund unused permits once booked with UWA/RDB, these authorized organizations in charge of issuing Gorilla permits in Uganda and Rwanda. Gorilla & Chimpanzee trekking permits are 100% non-refundable once booked!

For clients who may choose to cancel an already booked Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking for any reason, should understand that gorilla or Chimpanzee permit is not refundable, but it is possible to request a free reschedule for the permit to be used on another future date, and the request should be made at least 14 days prior to the trip’s beginning.

To cancel the whole trip two months prior the starting date, the company charges cancellation fees of 20% and refunds 80% of the amount paid, excluding gorilla and chimpanzee permit fees, which are non-refundable once purchased.

One month prior to the beginning of the trip, a 35% cancellation fee will be charged, and 65% of the deposited money will be refunded. This will be after deducting permit expenses.

Cancellation two weeks or less, your trip will be fully booked, therefore 100% cancellation fee will be charged on deposited amount, meaning No refund.

The company reserves the right to terminate the trip if the participant is deemed a threat to government policies and conservation organization policies.
