ITINERARY FOR 10 DAYS UGANDA HOLIDAY SAFARI
DAY 1. Arrival and transfer to Kampala.
Upon Arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by your private Uganda Holiday Safari Guide who will welcome you and transfer you to Kampala for an overnight stay at HUMURA RESORT, CASSIA LODGE.
DAY 2. The Big Five Trail to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhinos
Early morning after breakfast you prepare for the big 5 trail to Muchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. At around 10:00 with your private Uganda Holiday driver/guide you arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a short White Rhino Tracking experience – the first of the African big five family.. After the Rhino tracking, you will have lunch along the way thereafter continue you journey to Murchison Falls National park. You will then proceed to visit the top of the falls and later drive to the lodge where you will spend the night, Dinner and overnight at PAKUBA SAFARI LODGE, PARAA SAFARI LODGE.
Day 3: Early morning Game drive and afternoon Boat cruise up to the Bottom of the falls.
A beautiful Uganda Holiday morning in the wild. Stretch you muscles and take a walk around the lodge to enjoy the beauty of Africa. After a quick coffee, we take you for an early morning safari game drive to the northern bank of the Nile river to be able to catch up with early risers, look out for like lions, leopards, hyenas, Bushbucks, elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos warthogs, Jackals, Birds among others before they return to their hiding places.
Return to the Lodge for a late breakfast, relaxation as you wait for lunch. After lunch, you will go for an exciting Boat trip up stream to the Bottom of the falls on the Victoria Nile which will reward you with fantastic view of animals like Hippos, crocodiles, Elephants and Buffalos coming to drink as well as variety of bird species. Return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight stay at (DAY 2)
DAY 4. Transfer to Kibale National Park.
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic journey to Kibale passing through Fort portal town, a beautiful town overlooking the Mountains of the moon. Taking the western scenic route to Kibale National Park, this Uganda holiday safari trail will take you through the Albertine rift found in the western Arm of the Great East African rift valley.
You will reach Fort portal early evening proceed to your Lodge to check in Have Dinner and overnight stay at CHIMPANZEE GUEST HOUSE, NDALI LODGE, PRIMATES LODGE.
DAY 5. Chimpanzee tracking in the Morning and afternoon transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
A relatively early start, have you breakfast and Drive to the Park headquarters for your chimpanzee tracking which starts with the briefing by the head guide, once you finish the briefing, you will start you tracking together with lead guide who will listen carefully to locate the chimps by Pant-hooting calls, then hustle to the area from which they are calling. You stand more chances to see other primates like monkeys such as black and white Colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, and grey cheeked Mangabeys among others. Return to the lodge for lunch, after lunch you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park crossing the equator, reach in the evening. Check in to your lodge.
Dinner and overnight stay at QUEEN ELIZABETH BUSH LODGE, ENGANZI LODGE, MWEYA SAFARI LODGE.
DAY 6. Morning Game drive and Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat cruise.
After a cup of coffee or full breakfast, you will head out for an early morning safari game drive up to Kasenyi plains in the Park. You will look out for lions. Leopards, Cape buffalos, Uganda Kobs, spotted hyenas, Mangoose, waterbucks, elephants warthogs among others. You will then drive back to the lodge for you breakfast and lunch break. In the afternoon, after your lunch proceed down to the jetty and take a Boat cruise on Kazinga channel here you stand chances to see a lots of Hippopotamus, crocodiles, Buffalos and Elephants coming to drink and many different bird species.
Return to the lodge Dinner and overnight stay (DAY 5)
DAY 7. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park en-route ishasha game drive.
Early morning on the seventh day, the Uganda Holiday safari route takes you to Bwindi forest National Park, via Ishasha sector which is famous for the tree climbing lions. You will do a safari game drive there in search of the tree climbing lions which are sometimes spotted clinging between branches of old fig trees. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park found in southwestern part of the country. On your arrival, you will relax at the lodge while preparing for the gorilla trek the next day.
Dinner and overnight at BUHOMA COMMUNITY REST CAMP, BAKIGA LODGE, MAHOGANY SPRINGS.
DAY 8. Mountain Gorilla tracking and community Walk
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will report to the park office for the briefing about the DO’S and DON’T’S of Uganda gorilla trekking by the ranger guide. You will then be assigned to the gorilla family of which you will track and thereafter you will enter the forest and start your gorilla trekking adventure. The tracking time depends on the movement of the gorillas and how strong the whole team will be in terms of movement. The steep forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access by tourists. Tracking may take between 3-6 hours. Once you find the gorillas, you will be required to stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour while observing and taking pictures. You will later return back to the lodge for a short break. In the evening go for community walk to meet and interact with local people.
Dinner and overnight stay at (DAY 7)
DAY 9. Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Game drive in the evening
In the morning after having relaxed breakfast, you will set off to Lake Mburo National Park with en-route lunch break, reaching early in time for evening game drive. You will search for Plain Zebra, buffalos, Impalas which are only found in this park in Uganda, Elands, Giraffees Dwarf Mangoose and many more.
Later check into your lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.at RWAKOBO lodge, LAKE MBURO SAFARI LODGE, MIHINGO LODGE.
DAY 1O. Transfer to Kampala and departure
After your breakfast, you will go for guided nature walk to get face to face closest view to the animals. You stand chances to see Elands, Zebras, Topi, and Impala at a close range in quite movement. On return you will have your relaxed breakfast then depart to Kampala, you will proceed to Entebbe International airport to catch up with your departure flight if it’s on schedule or be dropped to your place of preference.
