The 3 Days Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trek will start and end in Kigali Rwanda taking you to Uganda’s famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a home to the few remaining Mountain gorilla population in the world. You will track and meet the gorillas in the jungle, afterward crossover to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda where you will track and meet the Golden Monkeys.

Day 1: Kigali City tour & Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park Uganda. (Approx. 4-5 Hours)
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up by our Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trek tour guide / driver from your Hotel in Kigali and go for city tour. Visit Kigali Genocide memorial Centre, Nyamata Church, Caplaki craft market and other local markets.
You will then have lunch afterwards set off for a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, Bwindi is a home to the world’s few remaining mountain gorillas.
You will arrive Bwindi forest early evening in good time to have your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park &Transfer to Volcanoes National park in Rwanda.
Take an Early morning breakfast, head to the park office headquarters together with your packed lunch, drinking water and dressed in good trekking attire.
You will attend the briefing about Do’s and Don’ts of gorillas tracking in the impenetrable forest. You will get to spend one hour with the gorillas once you find them. The whole tracking takes 4 – 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
Later on return from gorilla trekking, the tour driver/guide will transfer you through Cyanika border, to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National park. You will reach early evening and proceed to check in to your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay at:

Day 3: Golden Monkey tracking and Transfer to Kigali
On this day after your morning breakfast, you will report to the Park headquarters ready for your golden Monkey tracking tour. Golden Monkeys are one of the endangered monkey specie which is typically found in this region but habituated to human presence. You will be briefed before you head out with your lead guide to track them.
Once you finish trekking and depending on your Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trek departure schedule, you will visit the cultural village of Ibyi wacu (gorilla guardian village) for cultural experience with local people. Here you will meet and interact with local Rwandan men and women who will welcome you with traditional dances and drummer.
Then on return, embark on your scenic journey to Kigali which takes approximately 3 hrs drive. On arrival to Kigali, the tour guide driver will transfer you to Kigali International Airport to catch up with your evening flight or you can be dropped at your Hotel as you mark the end of your tour.
