Bwindi Impenetrable forest covers 331 Square kilometers and has 4 gorilla trekking sectors. These include Buhoma sector which is well known as a prime area for mountain gorilla trekking experience due to being the park headquarter, it has many luxurious lodges. 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for gorilla trekking
After an early breakfast, you will be picked from your Hotel by one of our experienced Tour driver/ guides, who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will make a stopover at the equator for Photography and Mbarara town for Lunch break. You will then proceed your journey to Bwindi forest, arriving early evening. On your arrival, you will relax at the lodge while preparing for your gorilla trekking the next day. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari Day in Bwindi Forest & Community Walk
Wake up early for your breakfast, with packed lunch assemble at the park headquarters for the vital briefing about the DO’s and DON’Ts and other formalities of gorilla trekking. Together with the ranger guide, you will head to the forest for your memorable gorilla trekking experience. Tracking these gentle giants may take you through the muddy trail and sometimes may be rainy and probably may take 3-6 hours in total but very interesting. Therefore prepare for both challenges. Later on return and depending on how strong you will be, you will go for community walk where you will meet the local people including the Batwa as you learn about their traditional way of living. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe
After breakfast, travel to Kampala or Entebbe with stopover for lunch and at the Equator -where you will be able to stand and be on both hemispheres at once, arriving in the Kampala in the evening. You will be transferred to your Hotel or Entebbe airport to catch with your departure flight if on schedule.
