Overview

Kidepo valley National Park is located far north east of the country is one of the best places that shouldn’t be missed in ones trip to Uganda because of its diversified wildlife encounters. Note that it’s possible to combine this trip to other beautiful places in Uganda to make it long one depending on the number of days you have for your holiday.

Safari Itinerary:

Day 1- Arrival transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay

Upon arrival your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for an overnight refreshment stay. Accommodation: CASSIA LODGE / LE PETITE VILLAGE HOTEL / PAPYRUS GUEST HOUSE ENTEBBE

Day 2 - Drive from Kampala and overnight in Kitgum Town

After your early breakfast, the guide driver will pick you and drive you to Kitgum town which is about 10 hours, here you will relax as to make the journey short, and you can visit the Rhinos along the way at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Note that you can do this Rhino tracking at the last day just in case you miss it on the beginning. You will the check-in to your hotel for dinner and stay. Accommodation: BOMAH HOTEL / FURGLEYS GUEST HOUSE

Day 3 – Transfer to Kidepo national park and afternoon game drive in Narus valley.

Early start after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Kidepo valley national park, passing through the karamajongo manyattas which are very interesting to see especially how they live in enclosure. You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery and the day to day life styles of the karamajongo who are cattle keeping people closely related to the masai of Kenya. You will continue then after checking in and having taken your lunch, you will head out for afternoon game drive where you stand chances to see lions that climb trees and rocks, leopards, Herds of Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Impalas, zebras, Jackals, hyenas, on lucky occasion cheetah and ostrich which are specials of this area, Large Eland, kudu wart hogs and many more, you will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 4 – Game drive and transfer to Gulu town for overnight

On this day embark on the morning game drive after your breakfast, try more chances for the rare animals the on return, you will drive back passing through different village of the famous tribe around the park called Karamajongo as you learn about their life style. Continue and spend your night in Gulu town for break overnight stay. Accommodation: BOMAH HOTEL GULU / CHURCHIL COURTS /ACHOLI INN

Day 5 – Drive back to Kampala as you end

Day five is your last day drive back to Kampala, lunch along the way reaching Kampala in the afternoon hours as you end your trip Note that accommodation will be in either budget: mid- range: or luxury; according to your choice as selected
