The Uganda Gorilla Trekking & wildlife safari is your interesting short safari that will bring you to the most important Uganda places where you will stand chances to see the tree climbing lions, the mountain gorillas and chimpanzees of Kibale. It will bring you to the 3 adventure experiences including Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kibale Forest National Park, the home of the 13 Primates species making it the primate haven of Africa.

6 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking & Wildlife safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early in the Morning, you will be picked from your Hotel or Residence to start your 6 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking and wildlife safari. Drive southwards to Bwindi National Park, with stopover at the equator for photography and leg stretch, passing in different villages, with lunch stop in Mbarara town. You will Continue the scenic drive to the Kigezi Highlands also known as ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’ with several stopovers for photography and scenery viewing as you continue you journey to Bwindi the home to the rare Uganda Gorillas where you will spend you night.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla trekking and afternoon Cultural Walk.
This is your day for Gorilla tracking Adventure, After your morning breakfast, you will assemble at the ranger station well prepared with your camera, lunch pack, drinking water and tracking gear for a briefing about the DO’s and DON’T’S of gorilla tracking. The briefing takes about 30 minutes then later you will be split into groups joining with other people making one team. You will then start your Uganda gorillas tracking which takes few hours to full day depending on the movement of the gorillas and speed of you movement. On Return, you will visit the Community if you are still strong and interact with local people as you learn about their culture. Here you will also stand chance to see the pygmies (BATWA PEOPLE) who were forest dwellers and fruit gatherers before they were evicted from the forests. You will go back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. BUHOMA COMMUNITY REST CAMP / BAKIGA LODGE / MAHOGANY SPRING LODGE
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat cruise.
In the Morning after breakfast, you will set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park Passing via Ishasha sector which is famous for tree climbing Lions that are sometimes spotted clinging in old branches of the fig trees. You will search for them and after proceed to the northern part called Mweya where you will take a boat trip on Kazinga Channel. This is the natural water body that joins two rift valley lakes that are within this Park. The boat acts as a platform to view and photograph schools of hippopotamus, crocodiles a lots of birds and other animals coming to drink. You will thereafter have en-route game drive as you head to check in to your Lodge where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Early Morning Game drive and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
Early morning after breakfast, you will go for game drive up to Kasenyi plains in search of game such as Lions, hyenas, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Leopards, warthogs and Elephants among others. You will then transfer to Kibale National Park with chances to see crater lakes region, see the “Top the world” the road will lead you to the lodge where you will spend your night and have dinner CHIMPANZEE GUEST HOUSE / PAPAYA LAKE LODGE / PRIMATES LODGE.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Afternoon Bigodi wetland sanctuary walk.
On this day, you will wake up early and have your breakfast then assemble at the ranger station ready for your chimps tracking. You will attend the briefing to know about the DO’S and DON’T’S when you are with chimpanzee thereafter you will set of to the forest as a team of 6 people with your lead guide and start you chimps tracking that last for between 3 and 4 hours. On return you will have lunch break and in the afternoon, go for nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary where you stand chances to see variety of monkey species and birds.
Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight stay CHIMPANZEE FOREST GUEST HOUSE / PAPAYA LAKE LODGE / KIBALE PRIMATE LODGE
Day 6: Transfer Back to Kampala and Departure
In the Morning after breakfast, you will visit the crater lakes afterwards depart for Kampala passing through different villages. You will then reach Kampala early evening and be dropped to you Hotel or transferred to Entebbe International airport if it’s your scheduled flight time. Your Uganda gorilla trekking safari ends here.
End of 6 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking & wildlife safari.
