The 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari Tour will start in Kampala Uganda and end in Kigali Rwanda. This trip brings you to the best view of Uganda’s primates with chances for other Savannah game animals. Right from Kibale forest home to our closest relative, the Chimpanzee to Savannah with tree climbing lions of Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth to the home of the worlds endangered Mammal species on earth the Mountain Gorillas. You will then end the trip by crossing over to Rwanda a land of a thousand hills where you will witness the historical Genocide by visiting the Kigali genocide Memorial.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kampala
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park and Nature walk to the Crater lake area.
In the morning after your breakfast, you will be picked from the Hotel by the tour driver /guide and set off to Forest Kibale National Park with en-route stopover for photography and lunch break, You will reach Kibale forest in the Afternoon. You will then go for nature walk to the crater lakes region in the afternoon. later have Dinner and overnight stay at CHIMPANZEE FOREST GUEST HOUSE / CRATER SAFARI LODGE / PRIMATE LODGE KIBALE
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in the Morning & Afternoon Nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
In the Morning after your breakfast, the tour driver will escort you to Kanyanchu visitor Centre ready for your Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale National park, a home to 13 primate species. you will encounter other primates like Red colobus monkey, Olive baboons, Black and white colobus monkey, Grey cheecked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, and over 350 bird species. Attend the briefing to know more about the DO’S and DON’T’S of Chimpanzee tracking. You will then meet your ranger guide who will take you to track and meet the chimpanzee in their natural habitat, Once you find them, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them thereafter, return to the Lodge for Lunch break. In the afternoon, you will go for nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary where you stand more chances to see variety of Monkeys and bird species including the localized Great blue Turacco. Return to your lodge for Diner and overnight stay at (Day 2).
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Enjoy Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
In the morning after a relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving early in good time to take a Boat cruise along Kazinga Channel. This is the natural water body that connects two rift valley lakes George and lake Edward that are found within this Park. The channel hosts the highest concentration of hippopotamus population in Africa and therefore you stand chances to see a lot of them as well as variety of bird life. You will then go for evening game drive to see more of the wildlife. Later you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. QUEEN ELIZABETH BUSH LODGE / ENGANZI LODGE / MWEYA SAFARI LODGE.
Day 5: Game Drive, and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After an Early breakfast, you will set off for game drive in Kasenyi Plains where you search for game animals like Lions, Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, Leopard Hyenas, birds among others, later you will drive southwards through Ishasha where you will search for the tree climbing lions. You will then have lunch and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park arriving there early evening. You will check in to your Lodge have dinner and overnight stay at BAKIGA LODGE / BUHOMA HAVEN LODGE / SANCTUARY GORILLA CAMP
Day 6: Mountain Gorilla tracking in Bwindi and Community walk in the afternoon
A relatively early morning start, after breakfast you will assemble at the Park headquarters for the briefing about the DO’S and DON’T’S of gorilla tracking. You will then officially start you gorilla trekking adventure together with a park ranger guide. Trekking takes few 3 hours up to full day depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once you find them, you will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them as you watch them and taking pictures. Later you will return back to the lodge, rest for few minutes and thereafter take community walk to meet the local people including the Batwa (pygmies), learn about their culture. You will then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at BAKIGA LODGE / BUHOMA HAVEN LODGE / SANCTUARY GORILLA FOREST CAMP
Day 7: Transfer to Kigali, City tour and departure.
In the morning after relaxed breakfast, you will set off to Kigali Rwanda, arriving early in good time to do Kigali City tour where you will visit Kigali Genocide memorial, Capalaki craft Market time allowing Camp Kigali and other local markets. You will thereafter be transferred to Kigali international Airport if it will be your scheduled flight time or be dropped to you Hotel.
